Christopher Cook, CFP®

Partner & Financial Planner

For Chris, financial planning has always been personal. With more than 15 years in the field, he’s come to believe that the best plans aren’t driven by markets — they’re driven by what matters most to each client. A graduate of Xavier University with a degree in Economics, he combines that academic foundation with a genuine interest in helping people make the most of their retirement and their legacy. Chris specializes in retirement planning and wealth transfer. He works with individuals and families nearing or in retirement to create straightforward strategies. These strategies help them enjoy a full retirement and pass their wealth on to the next generation with confidence and peace of mind.

On the personal side, Chris and his wife Shelly live in Fort Thomas with their two lively Australian Shepherds, Westen and Weller. They both love the ocean — they’re certified Bareboat Sailing Captains and regularly sail with friends in the British Virgin Islands. They also enjoy scuba diving trips together and support the local Newport Aquarium through the Wave Foundation. They’re also proud supporters of The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, a congregation with a long history of offering education and support to people living in poverty, particularly women and children.

“Money’s real value is the freedom and experiences it can create for the people you care about most.” - Chris
